Vehicle Description
Anybody looking for a first generation should take their time to
check this one out. From the Showroom of Cruisin Classics, we are
offering up our latest addition in the form of a 1968 Chevrolet
Camaro SS Tribute. It is one of the best driving cars that we have
experienced. The overall feel from the pedal, torque, shifting
smoothness, handling, starting, stopping, etc., ...everything was
at it's best during the drive. Helping that drive was a BRAND NEW,
350 cubic inch Crate Engine with a factory GM 24-month/50,000 mile
warranty! (COMES WITH THE CAR!!!) The engine is all dressed up with
Chevrolet Bowtie chrome valve covers and matching 14 inch open
element air cleaner. Fuel is supplied by a rebuilt Holley 750
vacuum secondary carburetor and flows through a Edelbrock Performer
RPM air gap aluminum intake manifold. The spark is handled by a GM
style HEI electronic ignition system. The exhaust starts with a set
of 1-3/4 ceramic coated headers and a Flowmaster American Thunder
2-1/2 dual aluminized combo. More notable mentions are billet
aluminum pulleys, chrome high output alternator and a heavy duty
aluminum radiator with dual electric fans to keep it running
cool.The transmission is a 1968 Muncie 4-speed with a Hurst
Competition Plus console shifter.Rear Axle...GM 10 Bolt,
positraction with 3.73 gears.Suspension...Stock rebuilt suspension
with traction bars and frame connectors.Brakes... Power front disc
brakes (drums rear) with new lines and hoses. NEW Delco brake
booster and master cylinder.Tires...BF Goodrich Radial T/A's (front
P245/60R15-Rear P215/60R15).The wheels are Chevrolet Rally's with
new trim rings and flat center caps. All NEW black standard bucket
seat interior, factory console with aftermarket gauges, factory
in-dash tach., comfort grip 3 spoke steering wheel and a AM/FM
Stereo with a remote to the 10 CD disc player in the trunk. All of
the components listed above all come together to make one hell of a
muscle car. It is an outstanding car for a very fair price for what
you are getting. Please don't hesitate to call as this one will be
a popular item. Mileage is N/A.If you have any additional
