Vehicle Description
This 1970 CST/10 belongs to the second generation of Chevrolets
C-series pickup trucks. The sleek, rounded Gen 2 look debuted in
1967 and these were the first GM trucks sporting comfort and
convenience features not available on Gen 1 trucks, which were
designed and equipped for work purposes alone. The ride of Gen 2
trucks was greatly improved with a coil spring trailing arm rear
suspension replacing traditional leaf springs. This fine example is
powered by the Chevy 350 cubic inch V8 rated at 255 HP with the
4-barrel carburetor. This CST/10 starts and runs without
hesitation. The engine number confirms that it was manufactured for
a 1970 truck application so this is very likely a numbers matching
vehicle. Smooth, responsive shifting is delivered by the
Turbo-Hydramatic 3-speed automatic. This CST/10 is loaded for that
era with power steering, power brakes, cruise control and air
conditioning. The a/c is not functioning but the factory unit is
intact and and can likely be revived without major effort. The
interior is in very good condition and sports the original,
western-themed vinyl upholstery. Styled rally wheels and like-new
tires round out the package. This CST/10 delivers a great driving
experience and is a real attention getter! Youll be very hard
pressed to find a nicer one anywhere for this price.
