purchase. With some design help from the legends at Karmann and a
reliable and strong inline 6-cylinder engine, the TR6 is one of the
most popular British roadsters to every make the trip across the
pond. These cars offer a pure, open air, sports car motoring
experience that is unique to the marquee. The sound, the feel and
the handling is something that any auto enthusiast should
experience. Their traditional design, mechanical reliability and
parts availability make them easy to own and enjoy. For this reason
these cars have become proven investments.
The 1973 Triumph TR6 offered here is a wonderfully restored example
showing just 75324 miles on the odometer. The car is finished in
desirable, French Blue over black interior. The car is powered by
its proven 2.5 liter inline 6 cylinder engine, 4 speed manual
transmission and rear wheel drive. The interior is restored with
all refurbish and / or factory correct upholsteries and materials.
The signature wood dash fascia is excellent as well as the dash
pad, the seats and carpet remain excellent through out. The
exterior paint is deep and glossy. The car features its original
bumpers, wheels and trim rings. Under the hood is very tidy and
highly detailed housing its 2.5 liter inline six cylinder engine
fed by its signature dual Stromberg side draft carbs. The frame and
underside are excellent revealing an outstanding core structure and
it has been restored accordingly. Other highlights include: newer
soft top, upgrades stereo, original 3 spoke steering wheel,
original gauges, newer tires, factory correct exhaust, correct
hoses and clamps under the hood, excellent lights and tail lenses
etc. Mechanically, this TR6 is spot on, fully sorted and ready for
immediate enjoyment.
The Triumph TR6 is on of the last classic British Roadsters and the
most ergonomically friendly. An example such as this will receive
global attention and remains a healthy automotive investment.
