Now up for sale in our Houston showroom is this 1965 AC Shelby Cobra built by Superformance out of Irvine, CA. The Superformance MKIII is built under license from Carroll Shelby Licensing Inc. This gorgeous Shelby Cobra replica is built to the highest standards that many in the car community are familiar with when dealing with cars built by this well-known shop. This one is finished in a deep Shelby dark blue paint with the classic white racing stripes. Powering this beauty is 460 CID V8 that has been bored & stroked out to a 514 CID V8 that sounds AMAZING. The engine starts up with 0 issues and is extremely healthy through the power band. It has a full roller valve train, a Weiand stealth intake manifold, and it is fed by a monster 950 Holley 4-barrel carb. Paired to that monster under the hood is a Tremec TKO600 5-speed manual transmission that leads into an 8'' Ford rear end housing new 3.53 gears. The engine, transmission, & rear end was all rebuilt less than 2000 miles ago. The car has front & rear ventilated disc brakes, side mounted exhaust, & fully independent suspension. The exterior & interior of the car are in show car quality and would stand out at any car meet across the country. The all black interior shows very well and all gauges and switches work just like they should.
