This very nice, original car is powered by its original 351 Cleveland V8 engine, and automatic transmission. The 351 Cleveland v8 was a rare feature in the Mustang convertible. This car was purchased in its 100% original condition, having been stored in dry storage since 1991. This beautiful Mustang Rag Top has not been tagged since 1991!! With 85,000 original miles on it, this is one of the finest Mustang convertibles that we have ever had available to purchase. The 100% original interior is like new condition, with no wear on the seats, or carpet, and absolutely excellent original dash. This great Convertible was wearing its original Wimbledon White paint when we got it. She was in excellent condition, with absolutely no body damage, and zero rust found. We had it Repainted with a new base coat, clear coat of Wimbledon White, and she looks stunning. We added all new convertible top motor, pistons, and lines. Along with a new top, so the top works like a new car. This great 1971 Mustang, runs, and drives excellent. Everything seems to work as it should. I drove this car approximately 150 miles home the day I bought it. We also added a set of super cool 18 inch rims, and low profile tires, to give this Classic an updated look and feel. I don’t believe that I have ever seen a nicer original interior on a convertible car. The overall condition of this 1971 rag top is unbelievable. As we all know, early 70s Mustangs are getting very hard to come by, and add the convertible factor to that, and they are almost impossible to find. This is an original number matching 85,000 mile car…… that is in amazing condition, thru out. If you are looking for a great investment vehicle, which will do nothing but go up in value, as the years go by. This is the one. Mustangs are always a good investment, and an 85,000 mile convertible is a no brainer.
