Powered by an excellent running 304 V8 engine and automatic transmission, this AMC Javelin, is ready to rumble. This is a very nice, super clean 1972 Javelin, with excellent interior, great dash, gauges, headliner and carpet, along with a very nice opal orange exterior paint, and great stripes, this is one super cool car. These early 70s AMC Classics, are very hard to find, due to the fact that they were unappreciated for many years, so many of them ended up in the wrecking yards. Sadly there are just not many left, and now they have found the appreciation that they always deserved. They are just a really super cool and perfect example of the era of AMC. Everything about the Javelin is different from any other car of its time. From the toggle switches on the dash to the sideways door locks, AMC just liked to march to a different drum. I have always been a huge fan of the late 60s early 70s AMC Javelins, just because they look so cool, and are so different than any other cars of the time. This SST Package is believed to be all original number matching, and is in crazy great shape. We purchased this car just the way it is. This was a rare find, that really needs nothing more done to it, for it to be ready for the cruising season. We have found no issues at all, with this beauty. There are no rust issues, and the body looks great, with a few small dents, but nothing that would make us recover this great paint job. This 1972 AMC Javelin looks to have had a very extensive restoration done at some time in the past, with excellent interior, and great paint , new wheels and very clean engine compartment, there has been allot of care taken on this great Muscle car. If you are looking for that perfect Muscle car, to set you apart from all the other guys, this AMC Javelin SST just might fit the bill. You just don’t see them around anymore.
