Vehicle Description
1941 Ford Sedan
This 1941 Ford Sedan is a nice survivor car that is all original
and unrestored. It would make a great restoration project whether
you choose to restore it to original or transform it into a street
rod. The body is solid and rust free. It is painted in the original
Blue paint and is topped with all the original style trim pieces.
All of the chrome/trim is straight but has lost some of its
original shine. The glass is all there with the split two piece
windshield up front. Blue steel wheels getting the car rolling and
it comes with the original hubcaps which were not in place in the
pictures.
Powering the car is the original Flathead V8 motor topped with a 2
barrel carb and oil bath air cleaner. The motor does turn over and
run but it needs some TLC to get it running smoothly. A 3 speed
manual transmission is paired with the motor and utilizes a column
shifter. The interior has the original look and is in surprisingly
good condition considering its age. There aren't any tears in the
upholstery or even major stains which is pretty common on the older
lightly colored material. The dash, column and window trim is
painted in a copper color and all of the original gauges and knobs
are mounted in place.
The only things missing from the car is a gas tank and battery but
ones were hooked up recently to get it running.
This would be a great project especially at only $8,000.00!
