The Atlanta Showroom is offering this 1977 Volkswagen Beetle
Convertible for sale. In 1977, VW issued two Champagne Edition
convertibles to each US dealership, also known as a Special US
Sales Campaign model S723. The window sticker paperwork was
reported to indicate model 1591. This was essentially a Triple
White convertible, but used a sand colored convertible top and had
a set of four gold stripes running along the bottom of the doors
and rear quarter panels. The 1977 model had faux burled elm dash
inserts and the 1978 had faux rosewood dash inserts. Both had Opal
colored ribbon weave seat and smooth door panel coverings.
Approximately 2100 total triple white S723/1591 convertibles were
sold in the US. This Beetle has been through a body off pan repaint
in correct code L90B. It has the original 1600 block and new heads,
all new interior finish, new top, new tint, new radial tires with
white walls and locks, new carbureted fuel system, new exhaust, all
new lighting, new clutch, new Bluetooth stereo with Subwoofer.
