Vehicle Description
This beautiful 1968 Plymouth GTX convertible has spent its life in
the south with many years in Texas. It has however been through a
recent professional frame off restoration. The car did start out as
a Plymouth Belvedere with a 318 and an automatic. It has since
received many true GTX donor parts. Including a rebuilt 440 making
awesome power due to a roller cam and rockers, dual Edlebrock 4
barrels, Edelbrock Air Gap Intake and a Mallory ignition. All of
that power is send through a 833 Big Shaft 4 Speed to a 4:10.1 Dana
posi rear end. You will hear this coming with the full length
ceramic coated headers, dual 2 '' Flowmaster mufflers and H Pipe.
This car also has power disc brakes and power steering to go with
the Magnum wheels wrapped in 14'' redline radials. Aluminum
26''x3'' radiator, chrome powermaster alternator, chrome valve
covers and master cylinder cap. The black paint is beautiful and
goes great with the new white top and flawless white interior. A
150 MPH speedometer and factory tachometer compliment the interior
well. This is an all-around very well done GTX Convertible tribute.
