The Chevy II / Nova line was produced in five generations from
1962-1979 and 1985-88 model years. The Chevy II nameplate was
dropped completely in 1969. The third generation spanned 1968-1974
and featured a longer 111-inch wheelbase. In 1972, the standard
powerplant was a 230 cid inline 6. A pair of V8 options included a
307 cubic-inch and 350 cubic-inch engine. The later was offered in
the SS package and replaced the 396 V8 in 1971. This black/black
1972 Nova features a new GM 350/300 replacement crate motor mated
to a 1962 Corvette Muncie 4-speed manual transmission. Additional
build details include a new Power Master alternator, new Griffin
heavy duty aluminum radiator, new wiring harness and Holly carb.
The restoration was completed in 2002 and the bodywork includes new
rear quarter panels. The vinyl interior looks fresh including OE
style gauges. This beautiful 1972 Chevy Nova is located at our
