Vehicle Description
When people talk about iconic muscle cars, the GTO is normally at
the top of the discussion. This 1971 Pontiac GTOis a perfect
example of American Muscle. It was purchased new from Strickland
Motor Company in Dunn NC and managed to stay in NC its entire
life. The gold paint really brings the car's curves to life and
looks great against the factory light tan vinyl top and interior.
This is a true GTO and came from the factory with the same 400 4V
V8 and TH400 automatic transmission that are in now. All 3 owners
have done a great job keeping this goat original. It also came
with front power disc brakes, power steering, and bucket seats with
a floor shifter/console. The interior has remained original aside
from new front seat cushions and covers, carpet, and the rear
shelf. Everything that was replaced was replaced with factory
style materials. The existing headliner has a small mark, but the
car comes with a new replacement in the trunk. Brakes and shock
absorbers have recently been replaced along with an engine tune
up. The car starts easy and runs like the day it was born! New BF
Goodrich tires on thePontiac Rally II wheels held on with red dot
lug nuts are the perfect finishing touch to a well maintained car
looking for owner #4. Classic car financing is available, and
trades are welcome. If you have been hunting down a nice GTO that
isn't $65000, I am happy to say that its here, at I-95 Muscle.
