Vehicle Description
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air
Hardtop Sport Coupe for purchase. The 2nd generation of the Bel
Air's among automotive geeks is known for the milestones it
accomplished mechanically, but these are overshadowed by the iconic
50's styling it possesses. The Bel Air body is one of the most
popular collector cars today as either stock examples or
restomods.
The '56 here is powered by its 265 v8 paired with its Power-glide
automatic transmission. The car runs and handles like a dream,
holding the road very well. The car was completely restored roughly
15 years ago and shows incredibly well. The paint and chrome are in
excellent condition. The car rides on whitewall tires on factory
steel wheels with hubcaps. The car comes with full size spare and
jack. The engine compartment is highly detailed and shows
incredibly well. The interior remains in immaculate condition, and
the upholstery is free of any rips or tears.
The trim tag breaks down as follows:
• Style No 56-1037D = built in 1956, Series "C" Model Belair, Sport
Coupe(2 door hardtop)
• Body No VN 2903 = Los Angeles, CA (Van Nuys)
• Trim No 585 = charcoal pattern cloth, yellow imitation
leather
• Paint No 717 D = Belair series (two tone) upper body in crocus
yellow and lower body in laurel green
These cars never run out of style and interested buyers. Please
