Chevrolet Chevelles than just about any other muscle car. Here's
some red meat for the Chevy faithful! This gorgeous Nantucket Blue
(DD) 1967 Chevelle SS 396 tribute started life as a Malibu sport
sedan before being totally disassembled and restored to SS 396
specifications. During reassembly an all-new interior was installed
along with all-new sheet metal, emblems, exterior trim, and
bumpers. The heart of a Chevelle rests under its hood, and this
one's got a big heart! The 1968 396 block (3935440) breathes
through a set of 1966 427 closed chamber heads with a Lunati Voodoo
cam, lifters, and valve springs, COMP Cams roller rockers with 7/16
studs, and PR Magnum pushrods. Additional underhood goodies include
TRW forged pistons, Clevite rings, an Edelbrock Street Performer
aluminum intake manifold, Holley 770 cfm Avenger carburetor, a
Pro/Race harmonic balancer, ACDelco high volume fuel pump, a
Melling high volume oil pump, and MSD coil, wires, and distributor.
Shifting duties are handled by a Borg-Warner T-5 5-speed manual
transmission stirred by a Hurst shifter. A Painless wiring harness
facilitates adaptability, while a Vintage Air air conditioning
system will keep summer cruising comfortable. This is an
exceptionally straight car with outstanding paint and an aggressive
