Vehicle Description
1951 Studebaker Starlight coupe. Rare, no rust surviver especially
in a Studebaker. Totally dry floors, frame, body mounts, trunk and
all sheet metal. One refinish and very sharp looking. Both front
and rear bumpers re-chromed. All other chrome, stainless and all
emblems are in excellent condition. Strong running stock, first
year for a OHV V8. Stock 3-speed with great clutch, synchros,
excellent brakes. The first year V8 in 51 Starlight is a big deal
and very desirable option. Note in the trunk is a rebuilt 3-speed
overdrive trans. Not a lot of work to change out. The whole
interior is also new: seats, headliner, carpet and door panels.
Seats are done in very close material, only better and not that
scratchy mohair material. Very fun and peppy to drive and never
seen. Have the only one including a National Studebaker or other
car show meet. Car runs and drives and looks sweet. All lights work
and only 61K actual miles. Another option that makes her ever more
rare is she is a top of the line Commander, not the cheaper
Champion. Commanders have a totally different dash than the normal
Champion (most people don't know this). Commanders also have more
chrome pieces here and there. Most notably the chrome long pieces
on top of each front fender. The 1951's are special to me because I
was born in 1951. But more than that, these were designed after my
favorite WWII fighter the P-38 Liting (google P-38 Liting and see
why). This sweetheart has been in my personal collection for 12
years+. I just got the float plane of my dreams and I'd rather fly
the plane to fly-ins than this car to car shows. Opportunity
$14,950 and very reasonable delivery. Bob 1-866-641-7427, WE OFFER
