Vehicle Description
Ferrari introduced the 599 in 2006 as its flagship automobile. With
a 6.0L front engine pushing 612hp and capable of achieving 0-60mph
in under 3.7 seconds, the 599 was an instant hit. When designing
the 599, Ferrari placed particular focus on the car's weight
optimization, centralizing its mass for better handling at high
speeds. The 599's performance in all conditions was unlike that of
any previous Ferrari. The 599's sophisticated suspension system,
using magnetic dampers that are able to firm up in milliseconds in
response to aggressive cornering, F-1 Traction Control System and
carbon-ceramic brakes allow it to achieve legendary
performance.
This 2010 599 GTB is a unique supercar that captures one's
attention. The pristine exterior is carried through to the perfect
interior with black leather and suede seating and carpeting. Red
seatbelts, Ferrari insignias and stitching provide an attractive
contrast to the black interior and carbon fiber dash and center
console. This GTB has the Handling Grand Turismo Evoluzione (HGTE)
package which set a new standard of performance for Ferrari when
introduced. The HGTE package includes stiffer springs, rear
anti-roll bar, lowered ride height, for a lower center of gravity,
optimized tires and new calibration settings for the magnetic shock
absorbers.
