being fully restored by a shop that specializes in Z cars - and she
looks and drives outstanding. Under the hood sits the original
numbers-matching Inline-6 motor that has been completely rebuilt
top to bottom. With all new ignition system, fuel injectors, fuel
sending unit, and a new fuel pump and lines this car runs great
with good power. The motor is paired to a correct smooth shifting
3-speed automatic transmission that was rebuilt at the same time.
The brand new red paint is in terrific condition and has been
polished to a brilliant shine. All new weather stripping has also
been installed to protect the new red vinyl interior that looks
just as pristine as the exterior - and even has that new car smell!
No expense was spared as even the dash has been replaced. All new
carpet, seat covers, t-top covers, and door panels were
professionally installed. Under the car, an all-new full exhaust
system comes to life giving this car a nice subtle and sporty
rumble. The underside of the car was all cleaned and painted black
to not only protect it, but show well in the event you end up at a
car show. This Datsun 280ZX is equipped with COLD BLOWING A/C,
AM/FM/CD, cruise control, power steering, power brakes, power
locks, power mirrors, power windows, radial tires, rally wheels,
and removable T-Tops for cruising around on those cool sunny days!
It even has the T-top storage bags in the rear compartment. Talk
about a blast from the past. This is the very desirable 2 seater
version of these Datsuns and has the aftermarket front and rear
bumper treatment and headlight covers that really give it a sporty
and race ready look. This Datsun 280ZX will make a great daily
