This slick '32 Ford is a professionally built roadster that mixes the best attributes of a 'velvet rope and red carpet' show car with the streetability of a well-tuned muscle car. Crisp Jaguar Gray fiberglass joins plush leather trim to start the show. And beneath those crowd gathering aesthetics, a stout, 350 horsepower V8 and smooth automatic transmission provide the kind of long legs and serious street manners not found in most purebred trailer queens. If you're looking to score a fully-sorted street rod that mixes classic good looks with a modern driving experience, here's your next classic!

BODYWORK/TRIM

The product of a professional build that was completed by Mooresville, North Carolina's Yesteryear Auto Body, this '32 Ford looks fantastic under a rich coat of Jaguar Ammonite Gray 2-stage. That quality DuPont pigment hugs a solid Atlantic Coast Glass body that would give any high dollar garage queen a serious run for its money. At the front of that fuselage, a polished spreader plants small turn signals below a precise stainless grille and polished headlights. At the top of the car, a 3-piece hood fronts a fixed cowl and traditional-looking windscreen. At the sides of the car, a characteristically clean and simple profile is centered on shaved doors. And at the back of the car, a shaved trunk shades frenched taillights, a stainless-capped fuel tank and a second polished spreader.

ENGINE

Utilize the Dan Fink hood system and you'll find a reliable, 350 cubic inch Chevrolet small block that, according to the car's owner, turns buff 9.5 to 1 compression into a solid 350 horsepower. Revs are created when a polished air cleaner floats wind in to a Weiand Team G intake, by way of a Lokar-controlled Holley 600 double pumper. At the perimeter of that plane, brilliant Chevrolet valve covers hang polished breathers over lightweight aluminum heads. Beneath those heads, a hydraulic, flat-tappet cam pushes spent gases through stainless block hugger headers. At the back of that cam, an aftermarket HEI distributor sequences fire through loomed Taylor plug wires. At the front of those wires, a billet pulley spins a polished water pump between a coated fuel pump and a polished alternator. There's a beefy Champion radiator that plays well with a large, electric puller fan. And details like trick dipsticks, polished fuel lines and a polished expansion tank mix first-rate looks with first-rate functionality.

DRIVETRAIN/SUSPENSION

Under this Ford, a tough Brookville Roadster chassis, perched on a TCI front-half and triangulated 4-bar rear-half, strings polished control arms and two Ridetech coil-overs in front of adjustable QA-1 coil-overs. At the center of those bones, a chrome-trimmed B&M Turbo-Hydramatic 350 3-speed feeds a 9-inch, Brookville-supplied axle that's finished with 3.50 gears and a posi-traction differential. Handling is good thanks to modern rack-and-pinion steering, and power front disc and rear drum brakes. In front of those brakes, painted Coys wheels roll 225/45ZR18 Radar Dimax R8s in front of 315/35ZR20 Radar Dimax R8s. And a killer soundtrack rumbles through big stainless pipes and polished Magnaflow mufflers.

INTERIOR

Inside this awesome roadster, stylish leather hides complement roughly 40 hours of custom fiberglass work. A custom waterfall frames firm seats, which ride vivid carpet that frames custom pedals and a familiar Lokar shifter. In front of those thrones, a custom-molded dash hangs a polished instrument panel around fresh Auto Meter telemetry. And in front of the driver, a polished Billet Specialties steering wheel spins a leather-wrapped rim around a polished, tilting column.
