produced in 1968 with the rare option "Endura delete". 1968 was the
first year for the second generation of these muscle cars and the
first year for the Endura front end. Pontiac was worried that
customers would not like the front end even though it was heavily
advertised. So, they gave customers the options to order the car
with "Endura delete". It deleted the poly front end treatment and
instead came with the chrome metal front end. But don't be fooled,
this is a real 242 VIN GTO! This stunning GTO is one of those rare
survivors with only 88,992 ACUTAL miles on this beautiful car! This
beauty has been repainted in its original factory Solar Red and
features a new black Vinyl roof! Under the hood of this one is
numbers matching 400 CID V8 power house that has been freshly
rebuilt. It has then been linked up to a smooth shifting 3 Speed
automatic transmission with 2.93 gears in the rear. This stunning
car comes with PHS documents to prove the rarity and colors, and
boast only 3 owners in its long life. The GTO sits on some good
looking 15" Cragar SS wheels that give this Pontiac a sporty muscle
