The Chevrolet Chevelle was produced in three generations for the
1964 through 1978 model years. Part of the General Motors A-Body
platform, the Chevelle was one of Chevrolet's most successful
nameplates. 1966-1967 models saw a significant restyle that
included smooth contours, a broad new grille and bumper treatment
and curved side windows. The 1967 models also received a new rear
end featuring wraparound tail lamps with standard backup lights.
The 1967 Chevelle brochure proudly stated: "what you see inside
will probably bring on a severe compulsion to go driving!". The
SS396 Chevelle continued as its' own series with both sport coupe
and convertible models. This 1967 SS Tribute has a rebuilt 396 V8
mated to a 4-speed manual transmission and 10-bolt rear end. The
owner has installed a new Hurst shift linkage, new clutch control
arms and radiator. Additional features include power steering,
power brakes and AM/FM Stereo. The bright red exterior is
contrasted nicely by a beautiful two-tone black/red leather
interior with front bucket seats. This 1967 Chevelle SS Tribute is
located at our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this vehicle in
