Vehicle Description
This 1971 Chevy K5 Blazer was purchased new in Montana and spent
the majority of its life in Montana and Wyoming!! We love trucks
like this. Mostly original paint (Original Color) with some nice
patina, the interior was restored and is excellent. The engine
compartment even has the factory paint markings which is very
cool!! The frame and underside were cleaned up at that time and as
you can see from the pictures it is clean and solid. Engine,
Transmission, and Transfer Case have all been opened and gone
through (unfortunately we did not get the receipts). It also had
the brake system replaced. New Shocks, leaf Springs, and
Bushings.
These selectively restored trucks are very popular because
everything gets addressed mechanically and cosmetically in the
interior, but the outside is left original.
The truck runs excellent and drives down the road great. All
lights, blinkers, wipers, etc are working. We found everything
working on this truck and really enjoyed driving it. The rockers
are problem areas on these vehicles and they have been replaced on
both sides. Passenger fender was also replaced. Obviously the paint
is not a perfect match because the rest of the vehicle is original
paint. This truck really is a blast to drive.
