An Exceptionally Nice Mustang!
This is clearly one of the nicest Mustangs we have had for sale in the past decade! The paint is great, the interior is exceptional, mechanically it appears flawless and it drives—literally—like a new car. One look and it is apparent why the independent appraiser gave the car a 2+ rating and why AACA awarded it a National First Place.
This Mustang came from the dealer with “custom tutone” according to the car invoice. It is Candy Apple Red and Wimbledon White. The body is free of dents or dings and the paint looks almost like new.
The chrome trim is in excellent condition, and all of the windows are in very good condition and operate correctly.
As would be expected with such a top-quality car, the body and underside of the car appear free of any apparent rust issues.
The red vinyl interior upholstery is in good condition with no signs of fading, staining, splitting or tears, and is an excellent complement to the red/white exterior.
The dash pad is in excellent condition. All of the engine/systems monitoring gauges (temperature, amp, fuel and oil pressure) look as new and appear to be working properly. Similarly, the speedometer works, as do all of the safety equipment (lights, horn, wipers, seat belts, etc.).
The car’s 200ci 6-cylinder engine is strong and peppy. The engine starts right up and runs well, providing all the thrill that these “pony” coupes are famous for.
The three-speed automatic transmission operates smoothly, making driving in traffic a breeze.
The car’s brakes stop the car quickly without pulling to either side. The wheels have the original-style hubcaps and are mounted with radial tires that look almost new.
Power steering helps turn this Pony car into a vehicle that any enthusiast will enjoy. The air conditioning turns any hot, sultry day (or night) into a pleasant drive. And the working AM radio lends a note of originality that most older cars have lost long ago. Four seat belts will put you and your family at ease as you cruise to your favorite destination.
