This one is better than new. It’s a 1999 C5 Corvette convertible with a mere 6,500 miles and loads of options. That by itself makes for a very desirable car, but this one goes well beyond the factory offering with a supercharged 600hp motor and a multitude of other upgrades. There is a lot to talk about here!
This west coast car looks like you’d expect from a vehicle with so few miles. It is in impeccable condition and has been garage kept its entire life. It looks fantastic with its Torch Red paint and tan top, and is further accented by the Weld Racing wheels with Bridgestone Potenza tires (235/35ZR18 front, 285/30ZR20 rear). Everything is extremely clean, right down to the door jambs. The car has also been upgraded with LED lighting and accessories from Adjure.
The factory LS1 motor has received plenty of performance upgrades, starting with a ProCharger P-1SC supercharger and intake with dual intercoolers. Other improvements include PRC Stage 2.5 CNC ported heads and a Texas Speed 228/232 camshaft with 0.6” of lift. There is also a handheld tuning box included. The exhaust uses long tube headers with high flow cats and an x-pipe. Power goes through an upgraded clutch and factory 6-speed transmission with a differential brace for more strength.
This Corvette is equipped with the optional F45 suspension (selective ride control) along with the JL4 active handling system. A Steinjager rear sway bar kit has also been installed for improved handling. The power steering is all stock, while the brakes have painted calipers with drilled and slotted rotors all around.
The tan interior looks and smells like new. Everything functions properly as well. This Corvette was equipped with the optional sport bucket seats, head-up display, dual zone climate control, remote CD changer, memory package, and tilt / telescoping steering column. Both seats are power as well. There aren’t many options this car doesn’t have! In addition it has a wind deflector for less noise with the top down. The original window sticker and a silky car cover are also included.
This is a spectacular Corvette. Of course there aren’t many with such low mileage, but when combined with great options and performance upgrades it really becomes special. And with a window sticker of $51,528 and over $10,000 in upgrades, this one is a real bargain as well.
