New arrival A true barn find (30 years) MODEL OVERVIEW History of the 1954-1956 Cadillac Series 62 The 1954 model year was big for Cadillac, starting with a redesign of the basic Series 62 model. The new Caddy was lower, sleeker, and featured exhaust tips that exited through upswept bumper extensions. A wraparound windshield completed the flowing good looks of the middle 1950s, before the fin wars took hold. The Series 62 was available in a variety of body styles, including a 4-door sedan, 4-door Sedan DeVille, 2-door hardtop coupe and Coupe DeVille, and a 2-door convertible. 1954 CADILLAC COUPE DEVILLE. . TWO TONE YELLOW with BLACK ROOF. . . MATCHING TWO TONE YELLOW VINYL WITH BLACK CLOTH CENTER. . . POWER STEERING ...POWER BRAKES ..... POWER WINDOWS. . POWER SEATS. . . 331 ENGINE WITH 4 BARREL CARB WITH 215 HP. . .12 VOLT SYSTEM. . . 4 SPEED HYDRA MATIC AUTO TRANS. . .AIR CONDITIONING FLOATS DOWN THE ROAD IN CADILLAC STYLE. . . . . . . . This is a true barn find and should be viewed as such. The vinyl on the seats is all there but has cracks, the cloth centers are fine. The floors and trunk are sound. The bumpers are original with no rust and still have some shine. The dashboard is solid with no cracks as is the steering wheel. The motor starts and runs well and the brakes have been serviced to perform corectly..The hardware is all there for air but is not checked out to work. This is a really solid vehicle and a good representative of a bygone era. Drive it and upgrade it as you like.
This 1961 Cadillac DeVille is just the sort of vehicle that would turn heads as you rolled up to the entrance of the local country club to deposit your clubs with a caddy.
