This black with silver coves and red interior fuel injected ‘57 Vette has just had a major cosmetic restoration. All body chrome has been restored and exterior paint has been color sanded and feels like glass. Engine, transmission, engine compartment, frame, rear axle have been cleaned and painted. All brake lines, fuel lines, and hosing has been replaced and turn signal switch replaced. The under dash wiring has been replaced. Starter was rebuilt. Gauges all work and most have been restored over the past 7 years. Windshield wipers, windshield washer, heater, and Wonderbar radio all work. Interior is in very good condition. The frame has no rust and has not been bent nor had any major repair work done to it. Tires are bias ply and have less than 100 miles on them. car did not come with a soft top but the factory did install the proper fittings to accept a soft top. The hard top is silver with a red headliner. Its rear glass has some crazing from age.
The car was manufactured on June 21, 1957. It has the original FI unit which was rebuilt approximately 5 years ago. It has a Borg Warner T-10 four speed transmission. Prior to my purchase of the auto in 1985, the engine was changed out to a Chevy 327. For further technical questions, the mechanic who rebuilt this car will be happy to answer questions
