1965 Chevrolet Corvette 396 Big Block Roadster Triple Top Flight
Award Winner. The 1965 model year debuted with the first ever Big
Block Corvette, the "Turbo Jet" 396 CI rated conservatively at 425
HP. It was a great start and with the RPO L78 cost of $292.70, 2157
cars received this option, roughly 9% of the production.Today, the
Big Block Convertible of that vintage are coveted by collectors and
enthusiasts alike and their values are constantly going up. We are
pleased to offer a very fine example restored to such perfection
that was awarded the highest award NCRS "Top Flight" at local,
regional and national level. It is finished in Milano Maroon paint
accented by a White interior. The car underwent an extensive frame
off restoration that was completed in 2007. It is powered by the
original 396CI engine mated to a 4 speed manual transmission.
Features include power steering, power brakes, side pipes, teakwood
steering wheel, telescopic steering column and gold line tires.
