1982 Chevrolet Corvette Collectors Edition. Finished in original
Silver Beige Metallic Paint accented by none other than the
original Multi Tone Silver Beige matching interior. Best of all the
odometer is showing only 38,300 miles that are believed to be
original to the car as per the owner.
This Collectors edition is powered by the correct L83 350Ci V8
engine with the troublesome Cross Fire fuel injection removed and a
4 barrel carburetor and new intake manifold are in its place for
worry free cruising. The shifting is taken care of thanks to an all
new for 82, 700R4 four speed automatic with overdrive making this a
great car to take on the interstate.
The 1982 Collectors Edition was a real milestone in the Corvette
world being the first to break the $20,000 price point, which was a
large sum of money in the early 80's. It is also extremely well
equipped and features power steering, power brakes, power windows,
power drivers seat, factory air conditioning, tilt steering column,
removable t top roof panels, hatch back opening rear window,
leather interior, and correct Collectors Edition Wheels wrapped in
radial tires.
