Vehicle Description
The Chevrolet Chevy II/Nova was a small automobile manufactured by
Chevrolet, and produced in five generations for the 1962 through
1979, and 1985 through 1988 model years. Nova was the top model in
the Chevy II lineup through 1968. The Chevy II nameplate was
dropped, Nova becoming the nameplate for the 1969 through 1979
models. The 1968 models were fully redesigned with an extensive
restyle on a longer 111-inch wheelbase that gave Chevy's compacts a
chassis that was just one inch shorter than that of the midsize
Chevelle coupe. The station wagon and hardtop sport coupe were
discontinued, the former in line with an industry trend which left
AMC the only American maker of compact station wagons until
Chrysler rejoined the market in 1976 (the 1966-70 Ford Falcon wagon
was actually a midsize, using a bodyshell identical to the Fairlane
wagon's).

consideration. This Nova is fitted with a 250 cubic inch inline 6
engine with an upgraded tri-power system; this power is transferred
through a smooth shifting automatic (Powerglide) transmission and
is applied with a rear wheel drive system. According to the owner,
this vehicle received a full restoration about 5 years back, some
key components that have been replaced include; ball joints,
control arm bushings, shocks, coil springs, shackles and anchors,
axle gasket, trans seals, pinion seals, 2 u/joints, brake lines and
brake kit, gas tank, front rear and trunk floor pans, frame
connectors, front fenders, rear quarter panels, front disc brake
conversion, Flowmaster exhaust, pertronic electronic ignition,
newer interior, PPG base coat clear coat, newer tires, power
steering, power glide transmission, heater, defroster, Offy intake
with tri-power and much more. Prior to the current ownership, the
vehicle was owned by the same individual for over 4 decades who
cared and maintained this car meticulously. The original
