Vehicle Description
The Model A was produced by the Ford Motor Company for Four years
and in 1929, one million units were sold. The price for a new one
was $500. The Model A was the first of Ford's to use standard
driver controls, such as a gas, brake, and clutch pedal. It was
also the first to use safety glass for the windshield. By the end
of its production, 4,849,340 were made. The A was powered by a 201
c.i. engine producing 40 horsepower. In late 1927, the Model A
replaced the Model T and came in several body styles and colors,
unlike the Model T.
This lovely little Model A has withstood the test of time as the
car remains in quite remarkable original and running condition both
inside and out. It portrays an even patina throughout the entire
vehicle. This 1930 had a complete engine overhaul and was placed
into the car in 2013, and has a receipt to show this. Since 2013,
the car has been driven only 200 miles. The car also has new wiring
and a new battery. The car rides on nicely painted red wheels with
shiny hubcaps and new lugnuts.
This car is a fun driver and is sure to turn heads wherever it
goes. Own this historic treasure without breaking the bank.
