Painted in Silver Blue, this car presents as a very nice driver-quality vehicle. The chrome is every bit as nice as is the stainless trim.

• Interior

The interior upholstery—with front bucket seats—is in very nice condition as is the headliner. There is a crack in the dash (see picture) that can be ignored or covered by a dash pad. All of the glass in the car looks very nice but the control mechanism for the right rear window needs adjustment.

• Engine

The engine is a 289 V-8 that starts right up and delivers a herd of ponies when you put your foot into it.

• Transmission

The floor-mounted automatic transmission shifts smoothly without hesitation or hard shifts.

• Chassis

The underside of this Coupe appears free of visible structural rust or corrosion, with evidence of previous corrosion remediation having been done.

• Safety and Comfort features

The car’s brakes bring this car to a quick and straight stop. The addition of power steering makes driving effortless. Seat belts provide for additional safety are installed for up to 4 occupants.

All of the safety features work—lights, turn signals, wipers, horn—but the air conditioning will need some attention as will the somewhat noisy heater blower.

Although the radio has been upgraded there is what looks like the original unit in the trunk.
