Convertible. The Chevrolet Corvette (C1) is the first generation of
the Corvette sports car produced by Chevrolet. It was introduced
late in the 1953 model year, and produced through 1962. In 1961 the
C1 Solid axle generation Corvette had some upgrades including new
rear styling, bumpers, 4 round taillights, and a new Mesh Grill.
This 1961 Chevrolet Corvette is a Numbers matching frame off
restoration. The 283CI engine runs great and the 4speed manual
transmission shifts smoothly. Both the engine and transmission have
been rebuilt with only 400 miles on the. The Paint is in good shape
and the Chrome Bumpers Shine in the sun. The tires and wheels are
in great shape with plenty of tread and free of curb rash. The
Corvette comes with documentation and photos of the restoration
