The Dodge Charger has a rich racing history that includes driving
legends Richard Petty, Buddy Baker and David Pearson. The 1966
Charger was the first of the line that was essentially a fastback
version of the Coronet. Updates included a new grille with hidden
headlights and full-width taillamps. The unibody structure used
torsion bars as a springing medium and solid rear axle on leaf
springs in the back. It was offered only as a hardtop. This
beautiful Turquoise Metallic 1966 features the unique "Quad Bucket"
seating option in white vinyl. Power has been upgraded with
replacement of the original 361 cid V8 mill with a period correct
440 cid beast rated at 415 hp. The 3-Speed automatic transmission
is original and mated to a 3:23 posi 8 " rear end. Additional
features include power steering, power brakes and AM radio. The AC
hardware is all there but not functional. This solid 1966 Dodge
Charger is located at our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this
