Documentation by professional appraisal, available upon request

I purchased this GTO from Fleming’s Ultimate Garage of Rockville, MD in July, 2012 after previous the owner had completed a major on frame restoration. Since then, this car has been professionally maintained, garaged, and covered except for being occasionally driven.

Car has been professionally maintained, garaged, and covered except for occasionally driven. Since I have owned this car, it has been garaged and covered and has never seen water. I have documentation of restorations from prior owner.

This is a fine example of a PHS documented 1968 GTO convertible, originally Verdoro Green, now nicely finished in Solar Red with clear coat, black vinyl bucket seat interior and matching black convertible power top.

Highlights (see attached documentation for details):

Engine: detailed rebuild including roller cam/lifters, Eagle rods, forged pistons, rings, valves/guides, timing set, oil pump, etc. upgraded Ram Air 3 heads, and upgraded Pontiac cast iron exhaust manifolds (Ram Air type), Quadrajet carburetor, stock manifold results in dyno test showing displacement of 406 cu. in., compression ratio 9.5, peak HP 427, peak torque 468. Upgraded HEI distributor, new alternator, upgraded dual diaphragm power brake booster with cast iron dual reservoir Corvette style master cylinder. This car starts every time, shifts and drives well. The upgraded roller cam married to the Pypes exhaust gives this GTO a nice “lumpy” sound without sacrificing low end torque.

Chassis: 3.55, 10 bolt rear end, stainless steel, upgraded Pypes (“X” type) exhaust with dumps, dual mufflers, ending with polished steel trumpet style tailpipe tips. Upgraded 15” five spoke Rally II wheels with BF Goodrich T/A radials 245/60 x 15 with RWL. Replacement stainless steel brake lines,

Interior: black vinyl interior/carpet with bucket seats are in very good condition; GTO floor mats, dash and wiring recently replaced, along with ignition switch and lighter; Pontiac wood steering wheel, factory console with 4 speed Hurst shifter, Pontiac correct AM/FM factory radio (power rear deck antenna) with upgrade to allow MP3 or iPhone input for your own playlist, upgraded front kick panels with 6” JL stereo speakers. MP3/aux out jack under center console allows for great sound to play your personal playlist.

Exterior: repainted Solar Red with clear coat in very good but not “show car” condition. Of course, show car condition would list at a far higher price. Slight cracking in rear deck lid where seams were filled (see photos). New convertible top with glass rear window in very good condition with matching vinyl black boot. Detailed truck with spare tire. Hidden 3 channel amplifier drives the (removable) 12” subwolfer and front 6” JL speakers. This car will always turn heads and has placed in local car shows but is meant to be driven.
