These gorgeous cars were originally conceptualized as direct
competitors for all of the European imports that were in the
marketplace at that time. The bodies were all built in Italy by
Pininfarina throughout the entire production run from 1987 to 1993.
Just over 21,000 were final assembled in the US after the bodies
were imported in specially-designed Boeing 747s.By the time this
strikingly elegant car was built, Cadillac was using the 4.5L V8
engine that cranked out 200 HP. All used the four speed automatic
transmissions, which is exactly what this car has. Brand new, these
essentially hand-built luxury sports cars in convertible-only form
retailed for $58,470! Add in the low production color on this one
of Pearl White (YL3) where only 443 cars were built at an extra
cost of $700 and you have one really rare convertible! The tan
leather interior is like new, inviting a driver and passenger to
experience the drive that one can only get from a Cadillac - "The
Standard of the World".This beauty has had only 82K miles put on it
in the past quarter century (not verifiable from GCC) and has had
all necessary service work done at the factory-specified intervals.
The current owner acquired this Caddy in 1995 and has lovingly
pampered it just like the original owner did. Everything works
flawlessly and as designed. He's even including a tonneau cover and
