Depot Hack
Between 1908 and 1927 Henry Ford built over 15 million Model T’s in every conceivable configuration imagined; a record that remained until being passed by the Volkswagen Beetle in 1972. The Depot Hack being an open wooden body vehicle with multiple leather diamond tuck seats to transport family or railroad passengers; few remain today due to their precious bodies.
This “T” received an expensive correct restoration in the past, the professionalism and use of modern materials together with NOS Ford parts; it remains in show quality condition today. With a 176 cubic inch 20 horse power four cylinder engine, planetary two speed transmission, front and rear transverse leaf spring suspension, hand operated rear mechanical brakes and foot pedal driveshaft brake, it’s a “hand full” to operate even for today’s most experienced driver.
