Vehicle Description
The second generation Mazda RX7 dubbed the FC was first introduced
in 1985 and featured the still revolutionary 1.3L rotary engine.
Designed by Felix Wankel, the rotary engine has the advantages of a
compact design and low weight. It doesn't use contemporary pistons
and instead uses reciprocating pistons. It also had the advantages
of lower tax rates due to the small displacement. The second
generation RX7 utilized a range of turbo and no turbo models and
used the new Porsche 924 as a performance and specification
benchmark. Handling and comfort improved and the new independent
rear axle gave better handeling.

generation Mazda RX-7s that we have ever seen. Finished in a
stunning shade of bright red over a light grey interior, this is a
stunning car. The bodywork and paint work are incredible with no
dents or chips and very even coating throughout. The convertible
top is black and fits tightly with no rips or stains. It even has a
heated glass rear window! With just 36k miles and two previous
owners, this RX7 has been pampered and well cared its entire life.
It averaged only about 1,200 miles a year and all the maintenance
has been done. The interior is also in very great shape with a nice
and uncracked dash with working instruments and electronics as well
as well bolstered leather seats. The driver's seat shows some wear
on the side bolster which is the only evidence of use.
Well loaded, this car has air-conditioning, power mirrors, power
windows, power locks, advanced Pioneer audio, cruise control and
pop up headlights. It has the original users manual as well the
attractive stock 15in mesh alloy wheels. Very few convertibles with
the 5-speed manual were made and even less in such fantastic and
desirable condition. A time capsule for sure, this is a rare
opportunity to own one of Japan's finest sports cars!
