1977, featured the bullet proof 3.0 liter inline 4 cylinder diesel
engine, 4 speed transmission and Toyota's more than capable 4 wheel
drive system. The BJ40 is known for reliability, overall ruggedness
and fuel economy.
The 1977 BJ 40 presented here is a highly original example with the
exception of a repaint in its original factory light green with
white removable roof. Highlights included split front bench seat,
rear jump seats, rubber floors, new tires, new shocks, rear mud
flaps, rear mounted spare, steel wheels and hub caps. This BJ
starts, runs and drives very good and is ready to take you on your
