Vehicle Description
This 1972 International Scout II spent its whole life in Tennessee.
This Scout was selectively restored around 3 years and 3200 miles
ago. This included new floors, new paint, seats recovered, and the
floors were rhino lined when they were put in. They also put in all
new gauges. The previous owner had the engine pulled and had it
resealed and tuned, but his mechanic said it did not need a
rebuild. We did not get the receipts for what was done to this
vehicle, unfortunately. The Scout itself looks excellent and drives
just as good. Steering is tight and it shifts great!! While we
drove this for a few days the speedo stopped working so we put a
new one in and it shows 0 miles.
This is a very original rust free scout with 1 repaint as the last
owner stated he purchased from the original owner. The engine is a
304 V8, T-18 4 Speed Transmission, Power Steering, and Power
Brakes. It also has a roll bar with 3 Point Seat Belts and Soft
Topper Soft Top. This is a very very clean and very nice Scout for
a fair price.
