This cool Chevelle represents the very essence of Hot Rodding. Take Grandma's innocent, low mileage, 6 cylinder, three on the tree, radio delete, plain Jane Malibu survivor and inject it with a powerful attitude. The original 250 c.i.d. straight 6 was retried in favor of a souped up 454 V8. It is balanced, blueprinted, and bored .60 over. Heavy duty crank, rods, Arias forged pistons, molly rings, closed chamber heads, big valves, hardened seats, a Comp Cam, roller tip rockers, and a Tru-roller timing chain were installed. A performer intake manifold with a Holley 750 carb, MSD ignition, and Pro-Billet distributor makes her sing! It is fast but very derivable on the street. Nothing sounds quite like a big block belching exhaust tunes through Hooker headers and Flowmaster Delta-Flow 50 series mufflers. Just get in, hit the ignition, and you will here why no one bothered installing a stereo. Power gets delivered to a 12 bolt posi with Strange 3.73 gears via a built GM 700-R automatic overdrive transmission. The suspension features PST poly-graphite bushings, Hotchkis sway bars, upper/lower control arms, and bushings. The rock solid body has super nice 2010 Chevy Gold Mist paint, trim, chrome, and glass. The immaculate interior is all business with a custom real wood steering wheel, gauges, tachometer, and recovered Strat-o-bucket seats. It is super nice from the new headliner to the new carpet.
