Stunning show car quality 1965 Corvette convertible that has had a recent ground up restoration. Powered by an updated 350 c.i. Chevrolet V8 that has been enhanced with an Edelbrock four barrel carburetor that flows through an Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake manifold. The ignition was recently updated to a pointless electronic system. The exhaust exits this Corvette through factory side pipes. The steering wheel is telescopic and is an attractive after market upgrade. The original steering wheel is included with the sale. This is a power steering equipped Corvette. The wheels are new American Racing Torque Thrust five spoke aluminum that have new black wall tires mounted on them. The black vinyl top was replaced during the restoration and remains in as new condition. The glass is free of delamination and shows no scratches or cracks. The interior is in excellent condition and this includes the door panels, carpeting and seats. The instrument panel is clear and appears in excellent condition. All instruments function as they should including the factory clock. The radio is an after market AM/FM that fits in the factory location and appears original. The bumpers and bright work have either been replaced with new components or rechromed, all in show car condition. The exterior has been refinished in a custom Medium Blue Metallic and truly enhances the appearance of this Corvette. The hood stinger is metallic black with ghost flames that gives this Corvette some WOW factor but is not offensive.
