Vehicle Description
This original, restored, award-winning Mustang GT is finished in
factory Wimbledon White with blue GT rocker stripe and blue
interior. A real documented GT, it's equipped with a 289ci engine
and 4-speed manual transmission, front discs, dual trumpet exhaust
and fold-down rear seat. This documented A-code car has an original
4-barrel carburetor and matching-numbers block, transmission and
rear end. The engine was rebuilt at approximately 90,000 miles with
100% stock or OEM parts used during the rebuild and restoration.
Included in the sale are all documents, trophies, awards and proper
California Black Plates. The car comes with two sets of tires and
wheels: the original 14" wheels with brand-new tires and 17" 60
series wheels/tires on period-correct-looking mag wheels. All
features and mechanicals work as they should, including factory AM
radio, all lights, all gauges and speedometer. This car has had
just four owners from new. 2016 marks the 50th anniversary of the
1966 model year.
