Austin Healey was founded in Great Britain in the year 1953. This sports car maker was established through a joint-venture arrangement between the Austin decision of the British Motor Corporation and the Donald Healey Motor Company. Together, they formed Austin Healey. Austin Healeys were produced from 1953 to 1971. Austin Healeys were purely issued as sports cars. Ironically, Austin Healeys were a lot more popular in the American market. About 80% of all Austin Healeys were sold to Americans and just 5% were bought by Great Britain. The rest was sold to other foreign countries. During the 14 years of the Austin Healey production of the Big Healeys, the body style did not undergo any significant changes. Some of Austin Healeys biggest successes were the 100-4, 100-6, 3000 Mark I, 3000 Mark II & 3000 Mark III.
