Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is proud to offer this
bad-to-the-bone 1979 Pontiac Trans Am. This disco-era muscle car
has been completely re-worked from how it arrived at the Arizona
Pontiac dealer that sold it to its first owner nearly 40 years ago.
Now owned by a gentleman that modifies cars for a living, the specs
on this car are very impressive. From the mile-deep black paint to
the custom aluminum wheels, this car looks fast even when it's
sitting still. Once you get inside, a fully restored interior
featuring custom bucket seats invites you to settle in behind the
wheel and enjoy the creature comforts that people take for granted
today like A/C, which has been converted to R-134 Freon, 4-wheel
power disc brakes, power steering, telescoping steering column,
AM/FM/CD, and power windows. The great part about this car is
what's under the hood and the famous silver Firebird emblem. It's
got a stock 403 Oldsmobile engine that has more than ample power.
It stays cool via an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. The
Turbo 350 transmission sends all the power to a 3.73 geared rear
axle. This car has the looks and appeal of a vintage car with many
cosmetic, performance, and comfort features that will guarantee the
new owner lots of trouble-free miles. It's a unique throwback that
you won't often see at the Car Shows. It's truly a one-off car
that's built for reliability and easy maintenance, with parts being
readily available for routine service. To see 100-plus pictures and
