For sale here is a truly unique Hotrod. This car began life as a
true original metal body 33 Ford 3 window coupe. The car was
purchased by a land speed racer at some point in its history and
spent many summers out at the famed Bonneville Salt Flats were the
car held the world record speed for the XF/VFALT class.
The car spent some years in storage before being turned into its
current incarnation.
A great deal of creative and imaginative thinking has given this
historic vehicle a new lease on life and a very unique and distinct
look, right down to the hand copper rivet work. Old patchwork and
even a shotgun blast to the door at some point in its history only
serve to enhance the charm and character of this time weathered
car.
The powertrain consists of an Art Carr built TH400 Trans and a
Currie Ford 9 rearend.
This vehicle is now being made available minus the motor which has
already been sold.
