Vehicle Description
1957 CHEVY BEL AIR CONVERTIBLE RESTO MOD 1957 was a defining year
for America, a year where Chevrolet shed its stodgy old image and
pulled out the stops when it redesigned the 1957 cars. The
automobile was offered in three standards series but now the 150
had four body styles, the 210 had eight, and the Bel Air was
available in seven. There were 19 different combinations available.
Also offered were new colors: 16 solid choices and 15 two-tone
combinations. Demanding consumers were more than pacified as the
option lists also grew alongside the trim and color pallet. Buyers
adorned new Chevrolets like Cadillacs, and they were loved by the
masses. The appreciation is still evident today, as the 1957
Chevrolet is one of the most desirable collector cars in the world.
This example is arguably one of the most desirable collectible
Chevrolets in existence. Finished in Onyx Black (2 stage PPG) with
correct red and silver upholstery, with a power black top. This Bel
Air was the recipient of a six figure Off-the Frame Award Winning,
"Every Nut & Bolt" Rotisserie Restoration. It has traveled only
limited "break-in" miles since completion. Amenities Include:
