Stk 2304 1991 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet
Porsche introduced a new model of the classic 911 in 1989 with the
code designation of 964. It featured significant mechanical and
styling enhancements to previous models. The new 964 model was sold
through 1994 and badged Carrera 2 or Carrera 4 (2WD/AWD). Our 1991
Carrera 4 Cabriolet (AWD) is a 3-owner roadster that has been well
cared for. The distinctive original Amethyst Metallic finish
maintains a fine luster and factory 16" 5-spoke alloys accent the
classic lines. The luxurious grey/black leather interior, also
original, is in very good condition. Creature comforts and safety
features include: dual airbags, climate control A/C, power windows,
power locks and a Nakamichi AM/FM/CD stereo system. The black
convertible top is power operated and fits snuggly. Porsche's
naturally aspired SOHC flat-6 (M64) displaces 3.6L and produces
247bhp. A new timing belt was installed at 40K miles. The
high-revving motor is coupled to a 5-speed manual AWD transaxle.
Power steering and ABS power disc brakes are standard. The design
of the 964 included a revised suspension configuration that
eliminated the traditional 911 torsion bars and added front
MacPherson struts and rear coil-over shocks. An electric rear
spoiler will raise at speeds above 50 mph and then lowers flush
with the rear engine lid at slower speeds. Our current owner (10
years) has carefully maintained this Carrera 4 and it will sell
