The third-generation Chevrolet Camaro was introduced for the 1982
model year. These were the first Camaros to include factory fuel
injection, 16-inch wheels and hatchback bodies. In 1987, a
convertible Camaro was reintroduced in relatively small numbers.
The conversions were done by American Sport Roof Company (ASC) on
T-Top equipped models. In 1989, the IROC Z-28 Convertible was
equipped with a tuned-port-injection 350 cid V-8 engine rated at
240 hp mated to a TH700-R4 automatic transmission. This white/red
1989 beauty has the factory leather interior with cloth inserts,
power seats, tilt steering wheel, cruise control and aftermarket
AM/FM/CD Stereo. This 1989 IROC Z-28 Camaro Convertible is located
at our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this vehicle in greater
