Vehicle Description
From the Restore a Muscle Car Collection, this Trans Am Super Duty
survivor is a two-owner car from a Pontiac Oakland Club member, who
had owned it years. It was carefully maintained and every effort
was made to keep the car as original as possible. The car is
mechanically sound and ready to drive. It still wears its original
code-29 Admiralty Blue paint. Car and Driver magazine managed to
post a 13.751 with a completely stock model. Going back five years,
that number still stands up as one of the quickest. In 1974, only
731 of these powerful machines were built with the Super Duty and
automatic transmission. This was the final year for the 455 SD to
appear on a factory invoice, and that marked the end of the Super
Duty era. It has 36,400 original survivor miles and is finished in
the original Admiralty Blue paired with the rare white deluxe
interior in excellent condition. It's powered by a matching-numbers
455ci Super Duty V8 engine and matching-numbers automatic
transmission. This solid original sheet-metal car, features
limited-slip rear axle, power steering and power brakes, front
console and the factory-installed hood bird (optional in '74). It
is one of 731 Super Dutys with the automatic transmission built in
1974. It runs and drive excellent. It has Pontiac Historic Services
(PHS) paperwork.
