Vehicle Description
Just out of a 33-year ownership, this rare and original Buick Regal
T-Type has less than 47,000 original miles. The T-Type was an
option package on the Buick Regal that included the legendary turbo
V6 engine from Buick's early '80s racing success. One of 3,200
built in 1984, it was ordered with several performance options
including the limited-slip differential, posi-traction and 15"
turbine alloy wheels. Additional rare options include the WH1
Designer two-tone paint, trim option 795 Lear Siegler leather
seats, and the digital package, which included digital gauges and
digital climate controls. The 3.8 liter V6 engine combined with the
Garrett turbocharger made for 205hp, which was serious performance
back in 1984. The engine and drivetrain have received continued
maintenance since new and both are in excellent condition, with the
most recent service completed in June 2017. All accessories -
including power options, lights, gauges, air conditioning, stereo,
and even the digital instruments - work great. The rare 15"
turbine-style original wheels are in good condition and wear Falken
performance tires with less than 500 miles on them. The body is
all-original and is rust-free with clean and original chrome
bumpers. The bumper fillers were upgraded with polyurethane
replacements in 2016. Both the bumper fillers and hood have been
repainted, but the rest of the car features the original paint. The
sand-color interior is original to the car and is in excellent
condition, as are the rare and attractive two-tone Lear Siegler
seats. This T-Type comes complete with its original Window Sticker,
purchase paperwork, service history and owner's manual.
