This numbers matching 1969 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is for
sale in our Louisville, KY showroom. The C-3 Corvette was released
to the public in 1968 and was truly a game changer for Corvette. It
was bigger, roomier, and when equipped with the new high
performance 427 engine, significantly more powerful! This exquisite
example is one the most perfect restorations we have seen! It was
restored as a stock show car well beyond factory or NCRS
requirements. This car is what GM wished they could have produced
in 1969. It is truly a new car. The car recently was subjected to a
3 year ground up, body-off, nut and bolt restoration. Literally
every component was replaced with new reproduction parts or
reconditioned to new or better than new condition. All the receipts
documenting this effort go with the car. You will not find a more
comprehensive and stunningly beautiful C-3 anywhere! It was
restored to turn heads, impress judges, and win most any car show
you will take it to. It is totally reliable, everything works, and
a blast to drive with that huge powerful 427 up front. The exterior
of the car is the first thing to grab you as the Lemans blue paint
almost looks like a Caribbean Sea with its depth and shine.
Finished off with a clearcoat that is as slick as I have seen
before the finish of this Blue drop top is extraordinary. With all
the trim polished to the highest luster achievable you can
literally comb your hair in the bumper. The side exhaust looks
great and sounds even better with those much wider redline tires
being custom made just for this 427 Corvette. Under the hood is the
original L-36 427 that was built with just a little more oomph.
With a Comp Cam and Lifter upgrade that compliments the freshly
built Q-Jet carburetor which was modified by Cliff's
High-Performance Q-Jets, this 427 is running better than any 427
car I've driven. The original M20 was rebuilt by world renown Paul
Cagliosi using all new Italian high-quality parts. The Posi-Trac
rear end with its 3:73 gears give the Vette a perfect mix of down
low grunt with a decent top end pull. The original 3:08 gears are
available and come with the car. The one addition on the car that
is not original is the Borgeson power steering which really helps
with cornering performance not to mention tight quarter parking at
that next car show. The interior is brand new and looks as such.
The blue vinyl buckets look perfect inside the cab with the 4-speed
shifter mounted in the middle console exactly as it should be. With
a list of parts that looks like an Eckler's catalog for the C3
Corvette the amount of money spent on this build is mind-blowing.
With the C3 market stable and starting to gain in value again this
427 droptop is sure to find a new home. Options on this 1969 427
droptop Corvette include, AM Radio, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior,
Rally Wheels, and Redline Radial Tires. This gorgeous 1969 427
Chevrolet Corvette Convertible can be seen, including an HD video,
