Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is proud to offer this
eye-catching 1971 Plymouth Road Runner tribute car. This is a great
way to enjoy what appears to be a Road Runner, but using the less
expensive Satellite model. Starting with a clean, rust-free Arizona
car and the epic 340 block, a trip to the machine shop, the engine
got all new aluminum heads, intake, water pump, etc. To top it all
off, a Holley three deuce set-up sends the fuel mixture to all
eight forged pistons pushing forged CNC rods. Stainless steel
headers run the gases through a pair of Magnaflow mufflers. A
Champion four-row radiator keeps the engine temp where it needs to
be, engine and transmission oil coolers do their jobs well. The 727
tranny houses a 3200 stall converter, sending the power to a 3.56
posi rear axle. The car stops reliably every time thanks to the four
wheel disc brake set-up. This car has more power than one can
contain under the hood! The custom chrome wheels really set this
beauty off perfectly. This gorgeous car gives you looks, attitude,
and performance all in one. A perfect street machine that's
mild-mannered around town, but when you mash the go pedal, you
better hang on.The paint has a few flaws upon close inspection as
does some of the chrome, but it's really not noticable. This car
pops from every direction you look at it. You can truly be proud to
own this one. Don't miss it! Hurry this car will be fast outta
here! To see 100-plus pictures and a video of this 1971 Plymouth
